The Montana Local Food Financing Partnership (MLFFP) is an initiative led by Mission West Community Development Partners in cooperation with Hopa Mountain and the Montana Department of Agriculture.
The MLFFP Matching Funds Program is intended to help Growth Through Agriculture (GTA) applicants meet the 50% cost-share requirement for a successful proposal. Businesses must satisfy four eligility criteria to receive MLFFP matching funds:
- Operate in the food retail supply chain as an outlet or supplier
- Offer a "full plate" of staple and perishable food products
- Be authorized (or pursuing authorization) to accept SNAP benefits
- Be located or supplymarkets underserved areas in Montana
All businesses seeking MLFFP funding as match for a 2024 GTA proposal must complete this application form by October 31.
Mission West will use your responses to determine your eligibility status and may contact you to request more information. Completion of this application further grants permission for release of the business name provided on your GTA pre-application to Mission West.
